Hi, I’m Alex Ho. I’m a software engineer with interests in computer networking. I graduated the University of North Texas with a B.S in Computer Science along with UNT’s Security Certificate & UNT’s CSE Undergraduate NSA Cybersecurity Certificate

What Drives Me

Since I was a child, I always loved figuring out what made things tick along with breaking down into it’s fundamental parts. Currently my active learning interest is video encoding, specifically targeting animation.

I worked as a Service Desk Technician at the University of North Texas System, where I:

  • Collaborate with IT specialists on complex technical challenges
  • Help modernize enterprise systems through Windows 11 migration
  • Contribute to the transition from Configuration Manager to Microsoft Intune, reducing machine deployment times by 70-80%
  • Solved a specific TPM attestation error in Microsoft Autopilot involving certain Dell laptops with certain TPM firmware versions.

Server setup focused around Docker and Tailscale to serve locally hosted applications for myself and friends.
